Oukitel WP19 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Helio G99 SoC
When we look at the leaked specifications of the expected device, we can see that Oukitel‘s next-generation smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, and it will likely have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is expandable up to 2TB. Also, the WP19 Pro will run Android 13 out of the box, but there are no details on whether the phone will receive any major OS updates.
On the display side, the Oukitel WP19 Pro is expected to feature a 6.8-inch FullHD+ LCD screen with Gorilla Glass protection and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro version will come with an enhanced refresh rate compared to the basic model, which has a 90Hz refresh rate. Also, the phone comes with a bigger battery, 22,000mAh, which is 1,000mAh more than the WP19. However, there are no differences in the charging speed.
The upcoming rugged phone will have four cameras, including a main 64MP camera from Samsung, a 20MP Night Vision camera from Sony, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. The company is calling the WP19 Pro “The Safest and Toughest 22,000 mAh Explorer+”. It’s certified with IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H, which means it’s tough and can handle different conditions. The phone will be about 29mm thick and weighs 592.3g.
